This policy explains what personal data ZG Ridezz Rental, a unit of MON Transport ("we", "us"), Basistha Chariali, Natun Bazar, Guwahati, Assam 781029, collects through this website and our bookings, why, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

  • Booking and enquiry details you type in: your name, phone number, trip dates, pickup point, vehicle, trip notes, and for corporate requests your company, work email, GSTIN and requirements.
  • WhatsApp messages: when you press Send, the message and your WhatsApp number reach our business WhatsApp account.
  • Rental documents: at handover we check and may keep copies of your driving licence, government ID and any address proof, and record vehicle condition photos.
  • Payments: deposit and payment details handled by UPI, card or bank providers. We do not store card numbers on this website.
  • Basic technical data: our server logs IP address, browser and pages requested for security and to fix problems.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your request, confirm bookings, hand over and receive vehicles, and provide customer support.
  • To verify identity and driving eligibility, collect deposits and payments, and handle damage, fines or disputes.
  • To meet legal duties, such as tax records and requests from authorities.
  • To keep the website secure and working.
  • With your consent only: to measure our ads and improve the site using analytics and advertising tools (see cookies).

We rely on your consent and on legitimate uses permitted by law, such as performing the rental you asked for and meeting legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

  • WhatsApp (Meta): booking messages go through WhatsApp, which processes them under its own privacy policy.
  • Our hosting provider: this website and its enquiry log run on a server we rent.
  • Payment providers and banks for deposits and payments.
  • Insurers, police, courts or authorities where needed for an accident, claim, fine or legal requirement.
  • Analytics and advertising tools (such as Google and Meta), only if you accept cookies.
  • Maps and video: the map and YouTube player load only when you tap them, and then Google receives your request.

How long we keep it

  • Website enquiries: up to 2 years, unless they become a booking.
  • Booking, rental and payment records: as long as needed for the rental and for tax and legal record-keeping, usually up to 8 years.
  • Copies of ID documents: only as long as needed for the rental and any related claim, fine or dispute.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct or update it;
  • erase it, where we do not need to keep it by law;
  • withdraw consent you gave (for example, for cookies) at any time;
  • nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or become incapable.

Security

We use HTTPS on this website, keep enquiry data outside the public web folder, limit admin access with a password, and share data only as described above. No system is completely secure, so please tell us at once if you think your data has been misused.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 except as passengers named by an adult renter.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
