What happens if I return the car late?

Up to 1 hour late is free. After that hourly charges apply, and very late returns are charged as an extra day.

Are there hidden charges?

No. The quote on WhatsApp lists rent, deposit and any delivery charge. Fuel, tolls and parking are always on the renter.

Quick answer

Self-drive prices are per 24 hours and include a free kilometre allowance per day. Extra kilometres, fuel, tolls and parking are paid by the renter. Cars with driver are priced per day or per kilometre with the driver's costs included.

Self-drive

Per 24 hours. A 10 AM pickup and 10 AM return two days later is 2 days.
Free kilometres. Each day includes a km allowance; extra km are charged per km.
Fuel. Same-to-same: return with the level you got.
Tolls and parking are paid by you.
Weekly rate. Rentals of 7 days or more get a lower per-day price on most cars.

With driver

Local package: 8 hours / 80 km in Guwahati at a fixed price.
Outstation: per day with a minimum km per day, or per km, whichever is higher.
Driver allowance and night halt charges apply for overnight trips. Tolls, parking and state permits are added at actuals.

Deposits

A refundable security deposit is taken for self-drive rentals and returned after the car is inspected.
